hide the ribbon in Office

You can double click on any tab (except the File tab) to collapse the ribbon.

I need to hide it completely and not just collapse it, including the File menu and everything next to it.

I apologize for any misunderstanding. To hide it completely, including the File menu and everything next to it, you can select the full-screen mode option. You can access this option by clicking the down arrow in the right-bottom corner of the ribbon and choosing full-screen mode.


If you cannot see the down arrow drop-down menu, please check if you have this icon on the top right bar of your Excel.
